Introduction

Van Wyk Flowers have been growing flowers for over 40 years and now specialise in the making of wedding flowers. We cater for all types and styles of weddings. We construct all styles of bouquets, corsages, buttonholes, halos, hairpieces as well as church and reception flowers.

During the course of a consultation Vicki and Peggy are available to discuss your individual wedding requirements and provide you with a written quote. We will also discuss size, shape, style and construction of the bouquets. As we are growers and wholesalers we have the flowers for you to view first hand. We specialise in roses, but cater for all other fresh seasonal flowers. Our aim is to make your wedding day as special as possible and ensure we have provided as much information and help as we can to help you with your final flower decision. We invite you to look at your flowers the day before the wedding to ensure total satisfaction.

Our service can include delivery of your bouquets on the day of the wedding.

Types of Bouquets

There are predominately three styles of bouquets;-

1. Tear Drop

Fully wired (handle at the back of the bouquet) featuring flowers of your choice. Usually have a backing of greenery. Called a tear drop due to its shape.

2. Natural Stem

Wired posy bouquet arranged in a mushroom shape with a collar of camellia leaves around the base of the bouquet.

3. Arm Sheath

Wired bouquet featuring flowers tapered from top to bottom of the bouquet with greenery for backing.

Hints when coming for a consultation;-
